Trex Decking What Can Be Safely Used To Remove Ice On Trex Decking?

What can be safely used to remove ice on Trex decking? - trex decking

We have a Trex deck equipment manufactures. This allows for the accumulation of ice and traction without damage to the bridge? We were told not to use salt. Make shoveling a rule only in the bird after, but we have freezing rain and cold wind are so slippery points.

  1. I am a representative of Trex and would recommend the following:

Calcium chloride or rock salt, available in many home centers, will melt ice on Trex and is perfectly safe.

Hint: Rinse the calcium chloride or rock salt off your Trex when first practical, to avoid surface stains.

A general deck wash or hot soapy water applied with a soft bristle brush should remove any stains that occur.
